What is Dual Credit?
Dual credit courses and programs enable students to receive credit for post-secondary courses, while simultaneously receiving high school credit towards their graduation. Both Camosun College and University of Victoria provide SD61 students with the opportunity to take post-secondary courses, tuition-free, while they are still in high school. In the case of SIP courses the applications must be complete by the 30th of September in the school year they are to be taken.
